Your jobs, mapped to the right test
What you typically need
Pre-demo asbestos sampling
EPA NESHAP requires an asbestos survey before any demolition or renovation that could disturb regulated ACM. We run bulk PLM and TEM identification on representative samples from all homogeneous areas. Reports are formatted for submission to the regulating authority.
Asbestos analysis →Post-abatement clearance
Clearance air sampling by NIOSH 7400 PCM or TEM (when required by the regulator or contract spec) confirms fiber levels are below the permitted threshold before you release the regulated area. Standard PCM results same-day or 24 hours; TEM within 48 hours.
Asbestos analysis →Lead RRP compliance
Post-renovation dust-wipe clearance demonstrates compliance with the EPA RRP Rule for pre-1978 residential and child-occupied facilities. We report against the EPA clearance limits (40 µg/ft² floors, 250 µg/ft² interior sills) and format reports for your client file.
Lead testing →OSHA lead air monitoring
Personal breathing-zone and area air monitoring for lead during disturbance work. Results reported against the Action Level (30 µg/m³) and PEL (50 µg/m³). Supports your exposure-assessment records and satisfies OSHA documentation requirements.
Lead testing →TCLP on demolition waste
RCRA-8 TCLP leachate testing characterizes demolition debris as hazardous or non-hazardous before disposal. Knowing the classification before the dumpster arrives saves schedule and avoids costly mis-characterization penalties. Results in 5 business days.
TCLP →Post-remediation mold
Clearance spore-trap and surface tape lift cassettes confirm that post-remediation conditions match or better the background control samples collected before work began. AIHA EMLAP-accredited results support your project documentation and client sign-off.
Mold analysis →We test. We never remediate.
IRIS is exclusively an analytical laboratory. We hold no contractor licenses, we perform no remediation, and we will never solicit your clients for abatement work. Your client relationships are protected. Every wholesale partner gets this in writing.

Questions contractors ask us
What is your turnaround for post-abatement clearance?
PCM air results are standard 24 hours, with same-day (4-hour) rush available. TEM clearance is 48 hours standard. For abatement jobs on a tight schedule, call us before the job starts and we will reserve same-day capacity.
Do you do field sampling, or only lab analysis?
Both. Our field professionals collect air, bulk, wipe, and clearance samples under full chain-of-custody. Field science is separate from remediation — your client relationship and scope of work are not affected. We come to your job site.
How do I open a wholesale account?
Fill out the account application at wholesale/apply/ — takes about 5 minutes. No volume minimums. You get Net-30 billing, volume pricing, and a dedicated account contact once approved. Most accounts are set up within one business day.
Which jurisdictions do your reports satisfy?
NJ DEP, NY State DOL, NY State DOH ELAP, EPA NESHAP, AHERA, and HUD. We hold NVLAP, AIHA-LAP, NJ NELAP 20045, and NY DOH ELAP 12738 accreditations. If your project requires a specific reporting format or submission checklist, tell us upfront and we will structure the report accordingly.
