EPA RRP Rule requires testing before renovation, repair, or painting. NJ mandates lead paint inspections at tenant turnover (P.L. 2021, c.182). Buyers of pre-1978 homes must receive EPA lead disclosure.
Drinking Water
EPA Lead & Copper Rule action level 15 µg/L. LCRR mandates all outlets tested in schools and childcare facilities. NJ schools required to test all outlets under N.J.A.C. 6A:26-12.
Workplace & Occupational
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.62 (construction): AL 30 µg/m³, PEL 50 µg/m³. Air monitoring required when workers may disturb lead-containing materials or PACM.
