Compliance testing for
industrial & facility managers
Your work is compliance-driven and the regulatory context matters. We run the analyses your permits and OSHA obligations require, and report them against the right limits.
Your obligations, mapped to the right test
What you typically need
Cooling tower / spa compliance
Legionella testing for cooling towers, hot water recirculation systems, and decorative water features. New York cooling towers require culture (ISO 11731) by an ELAP-certified, CDC ELITE lab; IDEXX Legiolert covers L. pneumophila for routine WMP verification. Results support your Water Management Program under ASHRAE 188 and NYC Local Law 77.
Legionella testing →NJPDES discharge testing
Monthly effluent metals panel by EPA 200.7 (ICP) for NJPDES permit compliance. Results formatted for discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) submitted to NJDEP. We match your permit parameters exactly and flag any exceedances against your permit limits in the report.
Wastewater →OSHA silica monitoring
Personal breathing-zone (PBZ) and area air sampling for crystalline silica. Results reported against the Action Level (25 µg/m³) and PEL (50 µg/m³) under OSHA's silica standard. Supports your Exposure Control Plan documentation and exposure assessment records.
Silica →VOC / indoor air quality
Real-time PID screening followed by Tedlar bag GC/MS compound identification. Results reported against OSHA PELs, ACGIH TLVs, and NJ DEP indoor air criteria as applicable. Useful for post-renovation tenant re-occupancy, industrial hygiene surveys, and NJDEP LSRP vapor intrusion programs.
VOC & IAQ →Ambient particulate
Construction-perimeter and controlled-area PM2.5 and PM10 monitoring using calibrated real-time instruments with data logging. Results support regulatory compliance during ground disturbance, demolition, and remediation activities near sensitive receptors.
Field sampling →Soot & fire particulate
Forensic characterization of soot, char, and carbonaceous particulate by PLM screening and TEM identification. Documents the composition and extent of fire damage for insurance claims, litigation support, and post-incident remediation scoping.
Fire particulate →Hazardous waste classification
TCLP RCRA-8 leachate testing for hazardous waste characterization before disposal. Required for demolition debris, contaminated soil, and industrial waste under RCRA Subtitle C. NJ NELAP certified results accepted for NJDEP SRP submissions.
TCLP →Programs that run on a schedule
These obligations don't go away — they recur quarterly, monthly, or annually. We set up your account so resubmission is fast and your records stay continuous.
Legionella (ASHRAE 188)
Quantitative Legionella testing per your Water Management Plan. We log results against control limits and flag deviations. NYC LL77 and CMS-compliant reporting.
NJPDES Discharge Monitoring
Monthly effluent metals panel formatted for DMR submission. We maintain your parameter list, match your permit limits, and deliver results before your reporting deadline.
OSHA Air Monitoring
Silica and VOC personal air sampling when operations change, new materials are introduced, or annual exposure-assessment records are required by your OSHA compliance program.
Questions facility teams ask us
Can you manage recurring testing schedules for us?
Yes. For wholesale account holders we maintain your testing calendar, notify you before due dates, and keep your historical results on file for audit purposes. Tell us your permit parameters and WMP schedule when you open the account.
Are your results accepted by NJ DEP and NYC agencies?
Yes. We hold NJ NELAP certification (Lab ID 20045) and NY State DOH ELAP approval (Lab ID 12738). Results are accepted for NJDEP DMR submissions, NYC LL77 WMP documentation, and OSHA exposure assessment records.
Do you send field professionals to our site for air and water sampling?
Yes. IRIS field professionals handle on-site collection for Legionella (water), OSHA silica PBZ air, ambient particulate, VOC screening, and post-fire soot sampling. We supply all containers, calibrated equipment, and chain-of-custody documentation.
We operate facilities in multiple states. Can you help?
Yes. We hold accreditations covering NJ, NY, and FL, and perform laboratory analysis for projects nationwide. Our field professionals operate in NJ and NY. For out-of-state field work we work with licensed partners under our QA program.
