Emergency asbestos events have three problems running in parallel: immediate exposure to anyone in the area, regulatory reporting deadlines that are usually measured in hours not days, and a remediation scope you can't define until you've sampled. The mistake is to try to solve them sequentially.
We respond on-site, work with you and local authorities to seal off the contaminated area, oversee the cleanup, then run the post-event clearance testing that lets you reoccupy or hand the space back to operations. The same team handles every step, so nothing falls between the cracks of subcontractors and consultants.
What we do, in order
Contain
Coordinate with you, building security, and local authorities to seal off the contaminated area from public access. Critical-barrier setup if needed.
Assess
Initial sampling to determine the extent of contamination and what regulatory thresholds apply. This drives the scope of remediation.
Oversee cleanup
Work with the abatement contractor (yours or one of our trusted partners) on safe removal and disposal. Air monitoring during the work.
Clear & train
Post-event clearance testing of air and surfaces. Documentation for insurance and regulatory filings. Staff training to reduce the chance of a repeat.
