Scope of laboratory results
Laboratory results issued by IRIS Environmental Laboratories, LLC apply only to the samples as received and as described on the chain-of-custody. Results relate solely to the items tested and do not constitute a determination about an entire building, site, or material beyond what was sampled.
Sampling and interpretation
Unless IRIS performed the field sampling, the laboratory is not responsible for sample collection methods, representativeness, or handling prior to receipt. IRIS reports analytical data; we do not issue remediation directives, and interpretation of results in the context of a specific project remains the responsibility of the qualified professional overseeing the work.
Outsourced analyses
Certain analyses, including PFAS in water and TCLP waste characterization, are performed by accredited partner laboratories under our chain-of-custody. Method and accreditation details for those analyses are available on request.
